The lifestyles of many families revolve around the walking path.

Shopping (that's a lifestyle, right?) can be found up and down the Route One corridor, with the major stop being at the Quakerbridge Mall. And it is about to undergo a major upgrade with new stores and parking.

Lawrenceville is the home of Rider University, a well-known and respected institution of high learning. We are also close to Princeton University and The College of New Jersey, in Princeton and Ewing respectively. It is also the location of the Lawerenceville School, a long-time preparatory school.

Two golf courses call Lawrenceville home: Greenacres Golf Course and the golf course at the Lawrenceville School. The two courses at Mercer Oaks in West Windsor township also serve the township.

The close proximity to Princeton, NJ offers many cultural activities including McCarter Theatre, in addition to the arts program at the Kelsey Theatre at Mercer County Community College located in West Windsor.

Remembering that New Jersey is a relatively small state, by living in the center of the state, you can get to Philadelphia and New York City in a relatively short time via car, train or bus. It is also a short drive to the ski areas of eastern Pennsylvania and the recreation available at the Jersey Shore. We are about an hour or so from Atlantic City and its myriad of casino hotels.

The weather is moderated by our location near the Atlantic Ocean, which tends to keep us a bit warmer during the winter, lessening the effects of major snow storms.

And remember, we are the Garden State. The abundance of fruits and vegetables that can be purchased at numerous roadside stands during the growing season makes one's mouth water at the thought.

Abutting communities include Ewing, Hopewell, Princeton Township, West Windsor, Hamilton, and Trenton. See Central New Jersey Real Estate for more information on those communities.
